Panasonic AG-CX350 4K Camcorder Offers New Features

The AG-CX350 4K handheld camcorder is a light 4K 10-bit fixed-lens camcorder that contains features including 4K 10-bit 60p capture, HDR recording and is equipped with the RTMP/RTSP/RTP protocol for live streaming and NDI | HX-ready IP connection.

Firmware Upgrade Ver. 2.0 adds several professional features, including HEVC 100-Mbps and AVC-ULTRA formats, expanded audio capability, enhanced streaming, and more.

New Formats

With additional AVC-ULTRA formats, CX350 shooters can capture AVC LongG 12/25/50, along with AVC-Intra 422, which are all used today in other Panasonic P2 cameras such as the AJ-PX270 for ENG style shooting. The HEVC 100-Mbps codec brings 4K/60p 10-bit recording to the CX350 in a smaller file size, which is ideal for documentaries or reality content that need to capture large amounts of content.

Multicast Streaming

Multicast streaming will expand your workflow possibilities by allowing multiple users (on PC or smart devices) to monitor your CX350 stream. This feature is ideal for College or Enterprise campuses where multiple users need to see a live stream from one camera.

BRAND CONNECTIONS

The v.2 upgrade brings 4 channels of audio, allowing CX350 users to simultaneously record with the internal microphone (standard with the CX350) as two channels, along with Input 1 and Input 2 XLRs as two other channels.

Additional Features

  • Ability to use the CX ROP wireless control application in NDI mode
  • HDR/SDR indicator
  • Adaptive Matrix function
