Toni Stubbs Named WICT Network’s Women In Technology Award Winner

The WICT Network, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers  and Cablefax today announced Toni Stubbs as the winner of the 2022 Women in Technology Award. Stubbs is VP technology, engineering and operations at Cox Communications.

The Women in Technology Award was first launched in 1995 to recognize and honor leading women in cable technology. The annual award lauds the accomplishments of one woman who demonstrates outstanding professional achievement and significantly contributes to the advancement of technology in the cable and media industry.

Patricia Martin, Cox SVP of the Integration Management Office (IMO), and 2021 award winner, will present the 2022 Women in Technology Award to Stubbs during the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 21. As the 2022 Women in Technology Award recipient, Stubbs will be featured in an upcoming issue of Cablefax with an article detailing her numerous accomplishments.

Stubbs is vice president of technology engineering and operations for Cox in Virginia. In this role, she leads all network planning, engineering and Master Telecommunications Center operations across Cox Virginia’s Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia and Roanoke footprints. Toni first joined Cox as vice president, information technology with Cox’s previous Middle America system, headquartered in Tyler, Texas.
