TVN Honoring Chrystelle Le Gall, Suzana Brady With Women In Technology Futurist Awards
TVNewsCheck will present its annual Women in Technology Futurist Award to Chrystelle Le Gall, lead cloud solutions architect, Ateme, and Suzana Brady, SVP sales and marketing, Cobalt Digital, and chair of the RIST Forum.
The award will be presented at the NAB Show in Las Vegas on April 18 at 6 p.m.
“Chrystelle Le Gall’s creation of a cloud services team designed to help Ateme and its customers learn about and adopt cloud technology added momentum to an industry transition that would speed up significantly only two years later during the Covid-19 pandemic,” said TVNewsCheck Publisher and Co-Founder Kathy Haley. “Her design of a reference architecture helped create an automated click-of-a-button system for previously manual operations, which reduced the deployment time of cloud solutions from five days to a few hours and raised the efficiency and productivity of Ateme’s operations teams.”
Of Suzana Brady, Haley said: “Her leadership of the RIST Forum, including expanding it to more than 200 members, while organizing outreach to educate broadcasters and technology vendors have advanced a critically important leg of the media industry’s transition from hardware to software. Her work educating the media industry about the HDR aspects of the ATSC 3.0 broadcast standard have helped fine-tune a transformative technology for local TV stations.”
TVNewsCheck’s Women in Technology Leadership Award recognizes women who have contributed substantially toward advancing their industry technologically. It supports the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation’s Technology Apprenticeship Program, which trains, informs and recruits a diverse workforce that meets the emerging technology and engineering needs within the broadcast community.
