Richard Friedel

Richard Friedel is EVP Engineering, Operations and Technology at Fox Television Stations, where he drives ATSC 3.0 strategy. His previous role as EVP Technology & Broadcast Strategy for 21st Century Fox saw him shepherd long-term technology strategy and day-to-day operations for the Fox Network Center in Los Angeles and the Fox Houston Technical Operations Center and provided technical support for 14 regional production centers. Before joining FOX, Friedel served in various positions at Capital Cities/ABC, NBC News and local television stations. Friedel received the 2015 NAB Engineering Achievement Award, recognizing significant contributions to advancing the state of the art in broadcast engineering. In 2018 he received an Emmy for lifetime achievement from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Robert Lydick

Robert Lydick is VP of Information Technology and Station Operations at Tegna Media, where he is responsible for the Enterprise Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Special Projects for 47 stations and two radio stations. He has managed multiple major Tegna group wide projects including helping build the Design TANK (Formerly the Gannett Graphics Group), Master Control Hub and Spoke project, Newsroom Workflow Redesign project, Daily Blast Live Project, and many others. he oversaw disaster recovery and rebuilding operations for KHOU, when the TV station was forced to evacuate. While managing technology and operations at KSDK, Robert handled station security, logistics, production and coordination during KSDK’s unprecedented on-going coverage of the civil unrest in Ferguson, Missouri.

Clint Moore

Clint Moore is Director of Broadcast Operations Gray Television, where he helps the company with TMP projects and most recently the work-from-home initiatives to allow a majority of a stations staff to work remotely. Clint started his career in TV as a photographer/editor in the mid 90’s.  He has worked as a general assignment, bureau, investigative, and special projects photographer.  He also has time as a chopper photog and SNG Truck operator.  Clint made his move into operations in 2006 with Raycom Media where he worked to help develop efficient workflows with new technologies to allow field and station crews to achieve their daily goals.
