I only have one question. If the 39% cap is dissolved, doesn’t that mean that a broadcast company can distribute one message (whether fake news or not), to their viewers through their local news outlets? That would mean that the country’s demographics don’t matter, doesn’t it?

Local News is so important to this country. It is a great opportunity to help local viewers discern what is happening in their community not the opinion of a few nationally. Not to mention weather, sports and local programming. Just my thoughts…

I think if TEGNA does sell it should be to Byron Allen just my opinion as Apollo owns Cox Media I don’t really think of them as Standard General A.K.A. Media General from the dead.
