Acme’s Hannon Joins Jim Doyle & Associates

John Hannon, executive vice president of Acme Communications, Inc., has joined Sarasota, Fla.-based sales training firm Jim Doyle & Associates as senior vice president.

While at Acme, Hannon most recently oversaw operations of its WBXX Knoxville, Tenn., and syndicated distribution of The Daily Buzz, Acme’s national morning news program originating from Orlando, Fla., as well as assisting with Acme’s sale of assets.

Prior to that, Hannon managed WBDT, Acme’s CW affiliate in Dayton, Ohio.

Prior to Acme, WBDT spent time as an account executive, local sales manager and general sales manager in Dayton and oversaw Quorum Broadcasting’s ABC and Fox stations in Billings, Mont.

In addition to working with clients and consultants Hannon’s No. 1 priority is to bring a brand new Basic Selling program to market in 2012, said Jim Doyle, JDA president.
