Adam Frary To Head WTVD Creative Services

The former marketing director of WAVE Louisville, Ky., will be responsible for the ABC Raleigh, N.C., O&O’s branding, promotion, graphics and local production.

Adam Frary today was named director of creative services and local programming for ABC-owned WTVD Raleigh-Durham, N.C. (DMA 24). The announcement was made by Caroline Welch, WTVD president-GM, to whom he will report.

Frary will be responsible for all station branding, promotion, graphics and local production.

Over the years, Frary has held various marketing and production positions for a number of Raycom’s television stations. For the last three years, he was marketing director of WAVE Louisville Ky., shepherding all station creative for marketing, news, digital commercial production and design. He previously served as marketing producer for that station from 2003 to 2005.

Frary worked at WFIE Evansville, Ind., in two positions, as marketing director in 2007-11, and as marketing producer earlier in his career from 2001to 2003.

From 2005 to 2007, he was marketing director of WSFA Montgomery, Ala.

He began his television career in 2000 as a marketing producer at WEVV Evansville, Ind.
