Adrienne Bankert To Co-Anchor KTVT A.M. News

Adrienne Bankert will co-anchor CBS 11 News This Morning, weekdays from 4:30 to 7 a.m., beginning June 25, on CBS O&O KTVT Dallas (DMA 5).

Bankert joins KTVT from KCRA and sister station KQCA in Sacramento, Calif., where she has worked on the morning news team since 2004. For nearly six of those years, she has been a morning and noon news anchor and has hosted the monthly magazine program Common Ground.

Prior to that, she was a reporter and traffic anchor for the stations.

A native of northern California, Bankert holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Southern California. As a student there, she hosted talk shows for the university’s Trojan TV. After graduating, she worked on a freelance basis in Los Angeles as a host/red carpet correspondent for PBS, Disney ABC, Spike TV and BET.
