Alejandra Ortiz Joins KBLR Telemundo

Telemundo KBLR Las Vegas KBLR has named Alejandra Ortiz co-anchor of Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas, which airs weekdays at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. 

Ortiz will make her on-air debut on Monday, March 28.

Ortiz joins Telemundo Las Vegas after working for CM& — the Colombian news network that was launched in the early 1990’s — for the past four years. Most recently, she worked as an anchor for the network’s national and international newscasts. In this role, Ortiz had the opportunity to lead the network’s coverage of the 2014 presidential elections, as well as other high-profile Colombian electoral races and news-making events.

Ortiz is tri-lingual and fluent in Spanish, English and French and has hosted, produced and scripted television shows in all three languages.
