Alliance for Women in Media Launches New Website

The Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) unveiled a new, community-focused interactive website this week: www.allwomeninmedia.org. The culmination of AWM’s rebranding effort; the new website showcases the organization’s name and logo.

With features such as a video gallery, industry-specific news, and integrated social media, the new website supports AWM’s efforts to rapidly promote progress to women and serve as a resource to the media community. Bearing a title inspired by the organization’s new logo, the Reflections Blog also makes its debut on the new website. Reflections provides insight, updates, and opportunities for discussion on issues that affect the media and entrainment industry.

“Regardless of how one wants to participate, be it via Twitter, e-mail, searching the site or commenting on the Reflections Blog, the new AWM site offers media that will appeal to everyone,” said AWM National Chair Sylvia Strobel. “I look forward to using the website to find new ways to increase and strengthen my connections to women in the media industry.”

“As we celebrate AWM’s 60th anniversary, we are excited that AWM is more relevant — and our constituents more engaged — than ever,” commented AWM President Erin M. Fuller. “AWM’s new website is a powerful resource that will be used to foster and increase the engagement of the media community.”
