Amber Statler-Matthews New WJZY Assistant N.D.
Fox-owned WJZY Charlotte, N.C. (DMA 22) today appointed Amber Statler-Matthews assistant news director. Reporting directly to station VP-news director, Tina Luque, Statler-Matthews assumes this position immediately.
Statler-Matthews was the president, producer, videographer and editor of Statler Media Inc. She previously was an executive producer for the special projects and investigations teams at WFOR, WSVN, and WPLG, all Miami.
A graduate of Barry University, Statler-Matthews holds a Bachelors of Arts in communications. She also received her MBA in marketing from the University of Phoenix.
