Anchor Carla Wade Joins KTNV News Team

Anchor and reporter, Carla Wade joins the 13 Action News team at Scripps-owned KTNV Las Vegas (DMA 40), effective immediately.

She will anchor 13 Action News Live @ 3, plus co-anchor, with Steve Wolford, 13 Action News Live @ 3:30. She will also anchor the breaking news desk for the evening newscasts at 5, 6 and 11 p.m.

Wade was an anchor and reporter with WFAA Dallas before her move to Las Vegas.

Wade has a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma and has been working in news for 15 years. She previously won an Associated Press Award for best general assignment reporting and is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
