Anchor Doug Currin Joins KCEN Waco

London Broadcasting Co.’s NBC affiliate KCEN Waco, Texas (DMA 89), has hired Doug Currin, who will join the station at the beginning of January. He will co-anchor the 5, 6 and  10 p.m. newscasts with Myra Arthur and also contribute high-profile reports on a regular basis.

Currin most recently anchored and reported at WBRE Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa.  Prior to that, he anchored in Fayetteville, Ark., and Yuma, Ariz. He was also a producer at CNN for Wolf Blitzer Reports and helped cover numerous major stories such as the death or Ronald Reagan and the capture of Saddam Hussein.

He is a graduate of George Mason University.
