Anchor Phil Sanchez Returns To WISH
Media General’s CW affiliate WISH Indianapolis (DMA 27) is once again home to Phil Sanchez who is returning as weekend evening anchor.
Sanchez rejoins the 24-Hour News 8 team after spending the last four years anchoring and reporting for WISH’s sister station, WNCN Raleigh, N.C.
After graduating from Adelphi University, Sanchez began reporting for Long Island News and later worked for News 12, a 24-hour cable news channel in New York City.
He then joined WISH in 2007 and received a regional Emmy and an Associated Press award for his reporting.
He will make his anchoring debut on WISH in mid-August.
