Anchor Randy Meier Joins KMSP Minneapolis
Beginning Sept. 26, Randy Meier joins Fox O&O KMSP Minneapolis (DMA 15). He will be solo anchor of Fox @ 10 (the station’s10 p.m. newscast and will also contribute to Fox @ 5 (5 p.m.) as a reporter and anchor as well as Fox @ 9 (9 a.m.). He replaces Marni Hughes, who left Fox 9 in July.
Previously, he held anchor positions with MSNBC, KSTP Minneapolis (13 years) and WCCO-AM Minneapolis as host of a three-hour news/talk radio show.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in mass communications from University of Wisconsin. He has four Emmy awards and two Edward Murrow Awards.
