Annie Peters Named VP Of Sales For NECN

The NBC Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal today announced that Annie Peters has been promoted to vice president of sales for NECN.

Peters has been NECN national sales manager since 2006 and has filled the same role for co-owned Comcast SportsNet New England since 2010. A broadcast sales veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Peters joined the 24-hour regional news channel in 2003 as an account manager.

In her new role, Peters will lead the NECN team in the strategic planning, development and implementation of all sales marketing initiatives, including on-air and digital ad sales. NECN is the largest regional news network in the country, serving more than 3.7 million homes in more than 1,000 cities and towns throughout all six New England states.

Peters started her career as an account executive for TNT Express Worldwide in Paris. She held account executive positions at Telerep in Los Angeles and WFXT Boston before joining NECN.

She holds a degree from Emerson College and attended the Alliance Francais in Paris.
