Annie Yu Named WTTG Weekend Co-Anchor

Annie Yu today was named co-anchor of Fox 5 News Weekend on Fox-owned WTTG Washington (DMA 8). She will co-anchor the weekend morning news program alongside Melanie Alnwick on Sunday from 8 to 9 a.m.

In addition to co-anchoring Fox 5 News Weekend, Yu will continue her live reporting for Fox 5 News Morning from various locations in the District, Maryland and Virginia. And she will now be the face of the new WTTG morning show franchise, Style File, which will report on the latest news in the world of style, fashion and home design.

Yu joined WTTG in 2004 and has held a variety of roles at the station, including segment producer and fill-in feature reporter. Yu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and electronic journalism from George Mason University.
