Anthony Lewis Maisel Named GM Of KTEN

Lockwood Broadcast Group on Monday announced the appointment of Anthony Lewis Maisel as the new general manager of its NBC affiliate KTEN Denison, Texas (DMA 161). It also offers ABC and CW programming on subchannels. Maisel succeeds Craig Marrs, who left to join Journal’s KMIR-KPSE Palm Springs, Calif., duopoly.

He joins the station from the market’s KXII, where he was news director.

Maisel has held station management and news director roles for major broadcast groups that include Tribune, Telemundo, Clear Channel and Post Newsweek.

After beginning his career in Colorado Springs, subsequent news and station management positions took him to markets including Wichita, Houston, El Paso, Jacksonville, Denver, Houston and Dallas.
