Anvato Helps Stations Create OTT Content

Anvato, a  TV Everywhere and OTT platform provider, has introduced a new solution that allows broadcasters and TV stations to better leverage their unaired content by creating their own curated, live OTT channels. This easy to use offering is ideal for publishing, distribution and monetization of behind-the-scenes content, extended interviews that did not make the newscast, or other content that programmers would like to provide to their viewers but are unable to air during live broadcasts.

As part of a complete cloud workflow for OTT, these programmers can use the existing broadcast infrastructure, but add playout, encoding, clip editing, OTT channel creation and live-to-VOD asset creation in the cloud. They are no longer bound to traditional simulcast and the broadcast channel as a sole outlet for video content.

“This unique solution takes relevant and interesting video content that may not have had a chance to make the air and gives this valuable video a new home, allowing broadcasters to reach millions of devices with their own OTT channels,” said Alper Turgut, CEO of Anvato. “Not only does it improve viewer engagement, it also provides an opportunity for incremental monetization with dynamic server-side ad insertion.”

Anvatos Media Content Platform (MCP) is a turnkey software-based TV Everywhere/OTT workflow that enables television programmers, content owners and service providers to reach their audiences on any device. From signal to screen, Anvato offers a single, all-encompassing solution that ensures playback and monetization across all screens. Customers can deploy Anvato solutions within a matter of weeks, enabling live or on-demand TV programming on any device in a highly cost-effective manner.

Anvato will showcase MCP and these advanced capabilities at NAB 2016, booth SU9606CM, taking place in Las Vegas from April 18-21. To schedule a meeting or for more information about Anvato solutions, visit www.anvato.com or email [email protected].
