Audrey Savage Named KVDA Sales VP

The veteran of Texas Hispanic broadcasting will head sales at Telemundo’s San Antonio station.

Telemundo affiliate KVDA San Antonio, Texas (DMA 36), today appointed Audrey Savage vice president of sales. Savage, whose first day will be Aug. 18, will be responsible for developing and implementing all local, national and digital sales strategies for Telemundo San Antonio.

“Audrey’s experience in Spanish-language TV, which spans across two decades, makes her a perfect addition to the Telemundo San Antonio team,” said Luis Hernandez, KVDA president-GM.

Prior to this, Savage was the local sales manager for KXTX Dallas-Fort Worth. From 2003 to 2012, she was the local sales manager and national sales manager for KSTR and KUVN in Dallas. Prior to that, Savage was an account executive at various television and radio stations in Dallas, including KUVN, KTXA, KEGL-FM, KTXQ-FM and KHFI-FM.

Savage began her career as an assistant account executive and assistant media buyer at Katz American and Bloom Advertising in 1985 in Dallas.

Savage received her bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas.
