Augustin Named VP, Fox Stations Sales Chicago

Walter Augustin has been named vice president regional sales manager for Fox Stations Sales in Chicago, announced Patrick Paolini, senior vice president, Fox Stations Sales. Effective today, Augustin is responsible for overseeing all national sales for Fox Station Sales Chicago.

In making the announcement, Paolini stated: “Walter brings a terrific track record of success and a breadth of experience to his new role. Having been a national sales account executive with FSS, a local station AE in New York, and NSM at our duopoly in Chicago, Walter brings a wide range of understanding that will serve him well in this position.”

Previously, Augustin was national sales manager for Fox’s WFLD Chicago. Prior to that, he was account executive for WPIX (CW) New York.

Augustin began his career in 1999 as a trainee in the traffic department of WNYW, Fox’s New York O&O. Later, he held various sales positions at Fox Stations Sales in New York, including senior sales assistant, sales team supervisor and account executive.

A graduate of the Dominican College of Blauvelt in Orangeburg, N.Y., Augustin holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing management.
