Barb Palser Joins IB As Account Management VP
Internet Broadcasting today named Barb Palser vice president of account management. Palser returns to IB from McGraw-Hill Broadcasting where she was the director of digital media. IB is a provider of digital solutions media companies.
In her new role at IB, Palser will leverage her extensive broadcasting industry background to help IB clients with their digital audience and revenue growth strategies. Palser is also accountable for client satisfaction including metrics and client scorecards.
“We are very excited to have Barb join our team,” said Jeff Kimball, COO of Internet Broadcasting. “Her years of experience as the person accountable for growing the digital business for local stations make her uniquely suited to lead IB’s client account management team — where we provide those same solutions for clients across the USA.”
Prior to joining IB, Palser was the director of digital media at McGraw-Hill Broadcasting where she oversaw Web and mobile strategy for the company’s ABC-affiliate stations in Denver, Indianapolis, San Diego and Bakersfield.
Previously, Palser spent eight years in various key positions at IB including content director, training director and local managing editor. She also was news editor for Poynter.org.
Palser is a columnist and feature writer for the American Journalism Review and holds a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication from Louisiana State University.
