Biard, Dickey To Keynote SNL Kagan Summit

Registration opened today for the 31st Annual SNL Kagan TV and Radio Finance Summit to be held on June 3 in New York City. Produced by SNL Knowledge Center, SNL’s career development resource, the summit will feature more than 25 speakers including two keynotes and five panel discussions that will provide a day full of industry insights and networking opportunities.

The summit’s two featured keynote speakers—Michael Biard, president of distribution, Fox Networks Group, and Lewis W. Dickey, Jr., chairman, president and CEO, Cumulus Media Inc.—will give their perspectives on the current state of the TV and radio deal markets.

Panel topics include: the business of TV stations, the economics of retransmission consent, the future of growth opportunities in radio, FCC incentive auctions and radio and TV finance deals. Supported by SNL Kagan’s independent data and analysis of the industry, each panel will present insights around planning transactions, evaluating investments or plotting competitive strategies.  Click here for the full agenda.

“Recent M&A activity and FCC regulatory changes in the broadcast industry make this year’s conference agenda and speaker lineup particularly exciting,” said Robin Flynn, research director at SNL Kagan. “By bringing together the top broadcast finance experts in a forum where open dialogue is encouraged, the Summit will give attendees the chance to connect directly with decision makers while gaining valuable insights into the TV and Radio broadcast landscape.”

The one-day event will take place at The Union League Club at 38 E. 37th Street, New York. For additional information or to register, click here or call 888-991-7786. Registration includes conference materials, a continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks.
