Broadcast Interactive Media (BIM), a provider of revenue generation tools and data services for local media, announced today that Telemundo Station Group has selected BIM as its website technology provider. Telemundo will re-launch 10 station sites on the BIM platform by the end of the year.

Headquartered in Miami, Telemundo reaches 94% of U.S. Hispanic viewers in 210 markets through its 14 owned stations, 45 broadcast affiliates and 800 cable affiliates. Websites scheduled to re-launch on the BIM platform include: WSCV (Miami), WNJU (New York), KVEA (Los Angeles), WSNS (Chicago), and KXTX (Dallas). Stations launching new portals include KTMD (Houston/Galveston), KTAZ (Phoenix/Tucson), KBLR (Las Vegas), KSTS (San Francisco-San Jose, Calif.), and KDEN (Denver).

“We selected Broadcast Interactive Media for its revenue-focused approach to site development as well as their flexible solutions including the Developer’s Access CMS model,” said Manuel Martinez, president-GM of WSCV Miami, and Telemundo’s digital group business leader. “Telemundo is excited about the new partnership and the enhanced functionality BIM’s technology will bring to our staff and end-users.”

BIM also announced a contract extension with NBC Owned Television Stations. The NBC stations’ 10 websites produce and deliver compelling and unique local news, information and entertainment programming to viewers in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas-Fort Worth, Washington, Miami, San Diego and Hartford, Conn.
