Blake Burman Named WSVN Weekend Anchor

Blake Burman has been named weekend anchor at Sunbeam’s Fox affiliate WSVN Miami (DMA 16). He has been a general assignment reporter covering politics and breaking news since 2008 and served as fill-in anchor for both morning and evening newscasts. He replaces Reed Cowan, who left WSVN in June to pursue other interests.

Burman will co-anchor the weekend editions of 7 News at 5, 7 News at 6, 7 News at 10 and 7 News at 11 alongside Robbin Simmons.

Prior to joining WSVN, Burman was a reporter for WBBH Fort Myers, Fla., and was a weekend anchor at KAUZ Wichita Falls, Texas.

Burman is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
