Bob Denning Named KLAS General Sales Mgr.
Nexstar Broadcasting Group on Wednesday appointed Bob Denning general sales manager of its CBS affiliate KLAS Las Vegas (DMA 40).
Since 2015, Denning has been national sales manager at KOIN Portland, Ore., where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the stations’ national sales and political sectors. Denning will assume his new responsibilities on Nov. 6 and report to Lisa Howfield, KLAS vice president and general manager.
Denning’s broadcast career spans more than 20 years, with experience in local and national sales management, new business development, political advertising and strategic planning across multiple media platforms.
He joined Nexstar in 2015 as national sales manager of KOIN. Prior to joining Nexstar, he was national sales manager for four years in Portland, Ore., for KGW-TV and for three years at KING Seattle.
Earlier in his career, he held multiple roles at WESH Orlando, Fla., and at News World Communications in Washington.
