Bob Flood Joins MyersBizNet as CRO-GM

Media industry veteran Bob Flood has joined MyersBizNet as chief revenue officer and general manager, announced company. In this role, he will oversee a research and corporate membership program serving more than 100 MyersBizNet member companies. MyersBizNet is a research-based business-to-business media and marketing company serving media companies, agencies and marketers. It’s headed by Chairman Jack Myers

Flood most recently was VP of Advertiser Perceptions, where he led consultative work with all video-centric clients. From 2007 to 2010, he was VP, integrated advertising sales and insights for Fox News and Business News, and prior to that was SVP at MTV Networks, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of a cross-network ad sales platform.

Flood joined the media industry in 1983 as a network television buyer and supervisor at DFS Dorland and NW Ayer, joining DeWitt Media in 1990 as VP, national broadcast.

He moved to Optimedia, a division of Publicis, in 1993 and quickly through the executive ranks, becoming EVP, director of electronic media and chief strategist.
