Bob Jordan Named KIRO News Director

Cox Media Group moves him from its WFTV Orlando to replace Todd Mokhtari at its Seattle CBS affiliate.

Cox Media Group’s CBS affiliate KIRO Seattle (DMA 12) announced today that Bob Jordan has been named news director for the station. He succeeds Todd Mokhtari, who left in June to become VP of news at KNBC Los Angeles.

For the past 10 years Jordan has been the news director of WFTV, Cox’s ABC affiliate in Orlando, Fla. Jordan will begin his new post in August.

Prior to his last stint at WFTV, Jordan was news director at stations in Orlando, Minneapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles and Tampa.

Jordan is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
