Bounce TV Lands ‘Fat Albert Halloween Special’

Bounce TV, the new over-the-air television network for African Americans, will premiere Fat Albert’s Halloween Special this weekend and will present a mini-marathon of the classic 1977 special on Halloween night.

The special will premiere on Bounce TV on Friday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. (ET) and will also be seen Saturday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Oct. 30, at 6:30 p.m. Bounce TV will present consecutive airings of Fat Albert’s Halloween Special on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31, at 8-10 p.m.

Neal Ardman, president of Broadcast Partners, from whom Bounce TV licensed the show, said “We are thrilled to have Bounce TV airing this special. Fat Albert’s Halloween is a great show and deserves an audience.”

Other upcoming Bounce TV highlights include:

  • A lineup of primetime movies and stars led by: Tap, starring Gregory Hines and Sammy Davis, Jr. (Nov. 2); White Nights, starring Hines and Mikhail Baryshnikov (Nov. 3); Mo’ Money, starring Damon Wayans (Nov. 4); The Truth About Charlie, with Thandie Newton and Mark Wahlberg (Nov. 6); Bulletproof, headlined by Wayans and Adam Sandler (Nov. 10); and The Bedford Incident starring Sydney Poitier (Nov. 11).
  • Soul Train: One of the longest-running series in television history rides again as Bounce TV showcases the most popular performers and episodes of the legendary series. (Assorted dates/times.)

Bounce TV is seen in Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Houston, Cleveland/Akron, San Francisco, Milwaukee, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Hartford/New Haven, Norfolk, Dayton, West Palm Beach, Birmingham, Memphis, Louisville, Richmond and other cities. New Bounce TV markets are expected to be announced before the end of the year.
