Bounce TV Slots Two New Sitcoms For 2015

Sitcoms Mann & Wife and Sisters are both from Roger Bobb who executive produced Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns. The African-American targeted diginet also adds Ri-Karlo Handy as vice president of original programming.

Over-the-air digital network Bounce TV today unveiled two new original programs just as the upfront ad season gets underway. Both sitcoms are from creator Roger Bobb who executive produced Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns.

Mann & Wife stars Meet the Browns’ David Mann and Tamela Mann in what Bobb describes as a black Brady Bunch.

Sisters is about an aging R&B girl group whose members live together.

Both shows are set to premiere in 2015 and join a lineup that includes two returning originals.

Bounce TV, which targets African Americans and is cleared in 72% of TV homes, also hired Ri-Karlo Handy as vice president of original programming.
