Brad Moses Named President-GM Of WFLA

Media General moves the GM of its WNCN Raleigh, N.C., to head its Tampa NBC affiliate.

Media General today named Brad A. Moses president and general manager of its NBC affiliate WFLA Tampa, Fla. (DMA 14), effective March 26. He succeeds John Cottingham, president of the Media General’s mid-South stations, who served as interim general manager in a management restructuring following the departure of Mark Dvornik who left the station in May.

Since 2009, Moses has been VP-GM of WNCN, Media General’s NBC affiliate in Raleigh, N.C. From 2007 to 2009, he was VP-GM of WSAV, Media General’s NBC affiliate in Savannah, Ga. And from 2002 to 2007, Moses was director of marketing at WFLA, where he developed and implemented branding, marketing and promotion programs for the station.

Prior to joining Media General, Moses was promotion manager at WLS Chicago. Before that, he served as operations manager and director of creative services for six years at WTVG Toledo, Ohio. Earlier, he was post production manager for WTOL Toledo.

Moses graduated from Bowling Green (Ohio) State University with a degree in communication.

Whoever was in charge of making the GM hires before this for this station now needs to go. Thay have destroyed a once really good station! Newspaper companies!!!
