Brad Schwartz Gets Expanded Role As Prez Of Pop

Coming off the completion of TVGN’s rebranding as Pop, CBS Corp. and Lionsgate (today announced that Brad Schwartz has been promoted to president of Pop. In his expanded role, Schwartz, who has served as Pop’s president of entertainment and media since joining the network in April 2013, will assume oversight of a broad range of business, legal, advertising and affiliate sales functions while continuing to head the network’s programming and creative operations.

With the successful transition of the Pop rebrand complete, David Wisnia announced he will step down as Pop’s president, business operations to pursue new opportunities.

“Brad’s leadership of TVGN’s successful transition to and rebranding as Pop reflects his clear strategic vision for the network as well as his strong programming skills and business acumen,” said CBS President-CEO Leslie Moonves and Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer. “We’re pleased to expand his mandate to include oversight of the integrated creative and business operations of the network as Pop continues to build its brand, develop new programming and maintain its growth trajectory.”

Throughout his career, Schwartz has rebranded and launched several successful cable networks and has served as a top executive for Fuse, CTV (Canada) and MTV.
