Brenda Cantu Joins KTLM As Weather Anchor
Telemundo-owned KTLM Harlingen, Texas (DMA 84) today named Brenda Cantu weather anchor for Noticias Telemundo 40, Fin de Semana.
She will join News Anchor Hugo Magallan and Sports Anchor Nicolas Quintero on Saturday and Sunday at 5 and 10 p.m. beginning Saturday, Jan. 27.
Previously, Cantu was a weather anchor for two years at KNVO McAllen, Texas.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, and is studying to earn her meteorology degree from the University of Mississippi.
