Broadcast Pix Promotes Two Executives

Broadcast Pix has promoted Bob Poucel to executive vice president and general manager, and Russell Whittaker to worldwide director of channel sales.

Poucel will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, including the supervision of all departments and senior managers, while Whittaker will manage the Broadcast Pix sales team and marketing department. Both appointments are effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Poucel has been director of support for Broadcast Pix since 2014, and previously held the position from 2009 to 2012. He has also managed technical support for Imprivata, IBM Rational Software, the MITRE Corp. and Avid Technology. Poucel is a graduate of Stonehill College and earned a master’s degree in film production from Boston University.

A co-founder of Broadcast Pix, Whittaker has been a senior vice president of the company since 2009. Previously, he led sales efforts at Echolab, and served as president of 625, a representative of American manufacturers exporting to Europe. Whittaker also graduated from Boston University.

Poucel and Whittaker will remain based at the company’s main office in Chelmsford, Mass.
