Carlos Rausseo Upped To News Anchor At KDEN

Telemundo’s KDEN Denver (DMA 17) today promote Carlos Rausseo to news anchor, effective immediately. Rausseo, who joined the station in 2011 as a multimedia journalist and most recently worked as KDEN’s sports anchor, will join news co-anchor Pamela Padilla and weather anchor Ariel Rivera on Noticiero Telemundo Denver, which airs weekdays at 4:30, 5 and 10 p.m.

“Carlos is a key player on our news team and a very well-known member of the community,” said Pedro Calderón, KDEN news director. “He joined Telemundo Denver when the station first launched and since then, his passionate storytelling has allowed him to report the news and information that matters most to the communities we serve.”

Before joining KDEN, Rausseo was a video journalist at KCEC Denver from 2006 to 2011.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Universidad Central in Venezuela.
