CBC, Share Rocket Partner To Grow Social

Capitol Broadcasting Company has partnered with Share Rocket to measure and expand its social media performance in the Raleigh, NC media market.

Share Rocket, a social media ratings service, has devised a proprietary social scoring/rating methodology for broadcasters and digital publishers with the aim of improving overall social equity for their clients.

CBC implemented the Share Rocket service in May of this year on WRAL-TV and saw immediate improvement in their overall social media performance in the Raleigh TV marketplace, according to a Share Rocket release. Within the first month, WRAL experienced a 61% jump in social engagement and a 41% increase in both Social Share and Social Equity Index (SEI) scores.

These results led CBC to implement the Share Rocket service for their Raleigh, NC Radio properties as well.
