CBS, Cablevision Strike All-Net Carriage Deal

The omnibus pact includes the CBS O&Os as well as Showtime, the Smithsonian Channel and the CBS Sports Network. It also covers distribution of CBS programming on Cablevision's VOD and TV Everywhere platforms.

Cablevision and CBS today jointly announced the renewal of carriage agreements covering CBS Owned Stations as well as Showtime, the Smithsonian Channel and the CBS Sports Network.

Terms were not disclosed.

Mac Budill, EVP of programming, Cablevision said the agreements will also allow the cable operator to offer Showtime programs and CBS primetime shows on its VOD and TV Everywhere platforms.

“By recognizing the value of our content, this agreement assures the audiences we share with Cablevision will continue to be able to enjoy” CBS programming on all networks, said CBS EVP Marty Franks.

“Cablevision is a cornerstone partner in our flagship market,” he said.
