CBS Picks Arminio To Head Sales In Detroit

The former general sales manager at KOLD Tucson becomes VP of sales at WWJ-WKBD.

CBS Television Stations today named Mark Arminio VP of sales for WWJ and WKBD, the group’s Detroit CBS and CW stations, effective Jan. 10.

Arminio will be responsible for overseeing all sales operations at the two outlets in the country’s 11th market.

“Mark brings more than 25 years of broadcast management experience to our stations,” said Trey Fabacher, the stations’ VP-GM. “We look forward to tapping into his sales leadership experience as we continue to grow our business.”

Most recently, Arminio was general sales manager of KOLD Tucson, Arizona.  Prior to that, he was president-GM of WLNS Lansing, Mich. His background in sales management also includes positions with WKRN Nashville, KABC Los Angeles, KFSN Fresno, Calif., and Blair Television in Los Angeles.

Arminio is a graduate of Notre Dame University.

mark congradulations! you may remember me as co owner of Media … Period here in Detroit. Before that LSM WKBD , and also 14 years at KTLA 5 ,Four as LSM. I own Media Pros & MORE but billing went national. Also ,I handled all 50/62 marketing for 10 years,exclusively… not my partner.
