CBS Stations Clear ‘Leverage’ For Fall Debut

The TNT drama starring Timothy Hutton will get its off-net syndication launch in 13 major markets.

Trifecta Entertainment & Media has made a two-year deal to bring Leverage, the hit TNT drama from Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment, to CBS-owned stations in 13 markets, beginning this fall.

The series, recently picked up for its fifth season on TNT, will air on weekends on WCBS New York, KCAL-KCBS Los Angeles, WBBM Chicago, KYW-WPSG Philadelphia, KTVT-KTXA Dallas, KPIX-KBCW San Francisco, WBZ-WSBK Boston, WUPA Atlanta, WWJ-WKBD Detroit, KSTW Seattle, WCCO Minneapolis, WPCW Pittsburgh and WJZ Baltimore.

“The opportunity to represent a producer with the pedigree of Dean Devlin and his hit series Leverage is particularly gratifying in that we are once again able to bring a hugely visible brand to the syndicated marketplace,” said Hank Cohen, CEO, Trifecta Entertainment. “This highly entertaining show is not only one of basic cable’s biggest ratings successes, but is also critically acclaimed and will now be welcomed by even a wider audience.”
