Cheryl Fiandaca WBZ’s Chief Investigative Reporter

Cheryl Fiandaca has joined CBS O&O WBZ Boston (DMA 9) as the station’s chief investigative reporter for its I-Team. She will begin her new position on Monday, Jan. 30.

An award-winning investigative journalist, Fiandaca comes to WBZ from WHDH, the former NBC affiliate in Boston.

“We are thrilled to have Cheryl at WBZ-TV,” said News Director Johnny Green. “She is a well-known journalist who is trusted and respected for investigations that uncover widespread fraud, corruption and scandal. Cheryl will be a fantastic addition to the I-Team and our news organization.”

Prior to Boston, Fiandaca was a reporter for New York’s WABC and WCBS. She briefly stepped away from reporting in 2012 to become the spokesperson for the Boston Police Department.

An attorney, Fiandaca is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, New York and the District of Columbia. She earned a B.S. from Suffolk University and a J.D. from New England Law, both located in Boston.
