Christine Haas Named KTBC Austin Co-Anchor
Fox O&O KTBC Austin, Texas (DMA 45), today named Christine Haas co-anchor of the Fox 7 News Edge at 5 and 9 p.m. Effective Monday, Aug. 12, Haas will co-anchor the weekday evening newscasts alongside Mike Warren.
Most recently, Haas was an anchor at KNSD San Diego. Prior to that, she was an anchor at KHOU Houston for three years. Previously, she has held anchor positions at KVUE Austin; KARE Minneapolis; WTSP Tampa, Fla.; KTHV Little Rock, Ark.; and KAMR Amarillo, Texas.
Haas graduated from Illinois State University with a double major in mass communication and psychology.
