Continental TV Ups Himel To Atlanta Sales Mgr.

Continental Television Sales, a division of the Katz Television Group, today promoted Thorn Himel to sales manager of its Atlanta Rebels Team.

“Thorn has an outstanding reputation within the Atlanta media community and he has a tremendous grasp of what it takes to be successful in this business,” said Michael Spiesman, president of Continental Television Sales. “I am confident that Thorn will hit the ground running and do a great job in his new position.”

Himel joined Continental in the Atlanta office as a sales assistant in 2001. Two years later, he joined WJCL-WTGS Savannah, Ga., as an account executive to gain experience on the station side of the business. Himel rejoined Continental as an account executive in 2005 and quickly advanced. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University.

Continental represents more than 185 stations nationwide and maintains 16 sales offices.
