Cordillera Adds Sales, Operations Execs

Cordillera Communications has appointed Steve Chase vice president, director of sales and Bo Ebeling director of operations, both based at its St. Paul, Minn., headquarters.

Chase is currently director of sales at KOAA, Cordillera’s NBC affiliate in Colorado Springs, Colo. Previously, he held sales and marketing positions with Comcast Spotlight, Frank N. Magid Associates, Novartis,and Mediacom. Chase, a native of Marshalltown, Iowa, is a graduate of the University of Iowa.

In this newly created position, Chase will oversee all aspects of broadcast sales within the Cordillera group, including negotiations, systems, and talent development.

Ebeling is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar. His experience includes roles with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, where he served in the Consumer Protection & Antitrust Unit, the Dane County Circuit Court, and the Colorado Public Defenders Office.

Ebeling succeeds Dan Stein, who will retire at the end of May, and will work in operations, research, programming, contract negotiations, third-party vendor relationships, retransmission consent, and regulatory compliance.
