Cox Names Tina Commodore ND In Tulsa

Cox Media Group today named Tina Commodore integrated news director for the converged Tulsa market. In her new role, she will drive news content for the company’s TV and radio brands, including Fox affiliate KOKI and KRMG-AM-FM.

“This new role will be responsible for integrating two powerful news brands across all platforms,” said Cathy Gunther, CMG market vice president for Tulsa. “Tina is a talented leader and will have a unique opportunity to take a fresh look at the way we gather and cover news across our radio, TV and digital platforms in Tulsa.”

Commodore joined KOKI as news director in November 2016.  

Prior to joining CMG Tulsa, Commodore was Managing Editor for WSB-TV Atlanta. In that role, she helped lead daily operation of the newsroom and coverage of breaking news events. She also has served as manager of coverage and content for the award-winning station.

Commodore is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
