Cozi TV Adds Four New Affiliates
Cozi TV, the classic TV multicast channel owned by NBC Owned Television Stations, today signed signed an affiliation agreement with Media General to add four new markets to the diginet beginning June 1. With the addition of the four new stations, Cozi TV now has 79 affiliates, serving nearly 84 million homes, in 74% percent of the country, including nine of the top 10 U.S. television markets.
The new affiliates are WTTA Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla.; KXAN Austin, Texas; KASA Albuquerque-Santa Fe, N.M.; and WXSP Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo-Battle Creek, Mich.
“We look forward to working with Cozi TV through this new agreement and delivering their great programming to viewers in our markets,” said Deb McDermott, COO for broadcast at Media General.

Ok what about the rest of us that are Media General (WLNS, KLFY, WATE, WKRN, WBAY, WTEN) who had Livewell that are sitting here waiting. At least I knew in January that LWN was going up in smoke. Now we must wait to see if Cozi is a reality on WLNS 6.2 and KLFY 10.2. No one knows what will happen but at least if a deal was made when they know LWN was going to shutdown instead of waiting. You cant bother them too much but we that live in these dma have the right to say if we like the diginet or not. Media General please add cozi to the rest of us and if you can slot something in the dt3 too….

Media General hasn’t said anything about the LWN replacement. Wonder what’s taking them so long. Does’nt take a rocket scientist to figure out what the dma’s do not have…..

I been getting all kinds of info from different sources that Cozi was at least launching on KLFY and WLNS but nothing has posted on here or other sites…..Media General should have added the 5 of us when they added cozi to KSAS, KXAN, WTTA, and WXSP. Would have been a dumb deal. Wonder why us tv watchers get all irate. Then we get this line of mess, oh its a lot harder than you think or we still negotiating. If you don’t want us bothering you fine we can quit watching your stations….I can get the BRLA CBS on cable and antenna….
