Cozi TV Clearances Hit 42% Of The U.S

Network Signs New Affiliates, Including Stations in Boston, Houston and Kansas City, raising its household penetration to 47.5 million. It also hires journalist and TV executive Diane Petzke to oversee scheduling and promotion.

Cozi TV, the multicast TV network from the NBC Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal, today announced that it is now available in 47.5 million homes or 42 percent of the United States. The network, which officially launched at the beginning of the year, reached this latest milestone by recently adding WMFP Boston, KUBE Houston and KHSB Kansas City to its growing roster of affiliates.

“Given our growth in such a short period of time,” said Meredith McGinn, VP of Cozi TV and LX.TV, “it’s clear that our iconic shows, like Bionic Woman, Magnum, P.I. and The Six Million Dollar Man, are being enthusiastically welcomed by audiences nationwide.”

In addition, Cozi TV named journalist and television executive Diane Petzke as director of programming and promotion for the network. In this new role, Petzke will oversee scheduling for Cozi TV as well as its marketing and social media strategy.

Petzke brings more than 20 years of media experience to her role. Most recently, she was general manager and director of programming for NYC Media, New York City’s four noncommercial channels that explore local culture, lifestyle and history. During her four-year tenure at NYC Media, Petzke re-branded the network, launched more than 30 new programs and created a variety of media partnerships, including The New York Times, New York Magazine, History Channel and WNBC New York.

Petzke began her career as a researcher and reporter at The Wall Street Journal, which led her to becoming one of the first producers at CNBC and CNBC Asia. She later served as a producer at MSNBC and ABC News 20/20, as well as executive producer of Hollywood Heat, an entertainment magazine show on Court TV and later TruTV.

Petzke earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and politics from New York University, as well as a Master of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Chicago.
