CTD Promotes Two Senior Execs

CBS Television Distribution names Jonathan Bingaman EVP, domestic cable sales and Robert Schildhouse is now EVP, digital licensing and distribution.

CBS Television Distribution promoted two senior vice presidents to executive vice presidents, the company announced today.

The two are Jonathan Bingaman, formerly SVP, domestic cable sales, since 2010, now EVP, domestic cable sales; and Robert Schildhouse, formerly SVP, digital licensing and distribution, now EVP, digital licensing and distribution.

Schildhouse joined CTD in 2013 from Hulu, where he was co-head of content acquisition from 2008 to 2013. At CTD, he is responsible for licensing CBS’s programming to digital platforms including online streaming, video on-demand and subscription video on-demand services.

Bingaman directs cable sales for all series from CBS Television Distribution and CBS Television Studios, and “product” from CBS News, CBS Films and Showtime, CTD said. Prior to becoming SVP in 2010, Bingaman was SVP and regional sales manager for CTD, based in Chicago.
