Darby Douglas Returns To KHOU Houston News
Gannett-owned CBS affiliate KHOU Houston (DMA 10) said Wednesday that Darby Douglas will return to report the traffic on KHOU 11 News This Morning, from 4:30-7 a.m., beginning in early July.
Douglas has more than 28 years of radio and television experience, most recently as assistant director of operations/Houston at Total Traffic Network. Douglas is also the weekday afternoon traffic anchor on Clear Channel Media & Entertainment’s nine Houston stations.
He was also the morning traffic reporter at KHOU from 1996 to 2009.
Douglas is a native Houstonian who attended the University of Houston.
Katherine Whaley, who has been reporting the traffic since 2009, will continue as a reporter for the station. Whaley, the station’s resident foodie, has most recently been instrumental in the development of the station’s Food Truck Fridays segment.
