David Hayes Named GM Of WUPV Richmond

David Hayes has been named general manager and general sales manager of WUPV Richmond, Va. (DMA 56), the CW affiliate owned by American Spirit Media. He succeeds Doug Sutton.

Hayes has been the station’s national sales manager and sales manager since 2007.

Thomas B. Henson, president-CEO of American Spirit Media, said: “We have really been pleased with the growth and leadership that David has brought to WUPV over the past several years. We are looking forward to continued success under David’s leadership in addition to the service and partnership he and the team will bring to our clients in the Richmond area.”

Hayes began his career in Richmond at WUPV as an account executive, he continued his career as senior account executive at WRLH Richmond before returning to WUPV in 2007.
