David Spunt Joins KYW’s Reporting Team

CBS-owned KYW Philadelphia (DMA 4) has added reporter David Spunt to its news team.

Spunt comes to Philadelphia from WBTV Charlotte, N.C., where he has been a reporter since 2012.  Previously, he was a reporter for WAFB Baton Rouge, La.  He has also been a reporter for WRBL Columbus, Ga. in addition to working in public radio. 

Spunt was a production assistant for The CBS Evening News earlier in his career.  

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Spunt grew up in Columbus, Ohio and is a 2007 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and political science.
